Koustav Ganguly

I’m a software engineer and researcher based in Bongaon, West Bengal, India. I write here, a space for field logs, frontend craft, and notes in progress. The rest of the site is koustav.co.

I’m a frontend developer becoming a full-stack AI engineer and computer science researcher. I design and ship bespoke React and Next.js interfaces: new builds, revamps, consulting, and untangling AI-generated frontend slop that looks slick on the surface but collapses in production.

Studio and client work is run through makershot.tech. I am also preparing for TIFR research and sharing my learnings in public.

I owe a tremendous amount to open source: reading craftspeople’s code, building and releasing small focused tools, and writing when a complex idea finally resolves into clarity.
